Our Lady of Czestochowa icon at St. Stanislaus

Young Disciples Camp, July 7-11

The Young Disciples Camp will be July 7-11th at St. Stanislaus in Warsaw due to renovations at Sacred Heart. The camp is for students who have finished kindergarten through 6th grade. Registration forms will be mailed to families sometime in June.

Fatima Apostolate tour of the National Pilgrim Virgin Statue in Warsaw and Minto

The Fargo Division of the World Apostolate of Fatima, USA (Blue Army) is sponsoring the tour of the
National Pilgrim Virgin Statue in the Fargo Diocese. The statue will be at St. Stanislaus Church, Warsaw, on Friday, October 11 with Mass at 7 p.m. followed by a presentation by William Sockey, Custodian of the USA Pilgrim Virgin Statue. Also Mr. Sockey will give a presentation on Saturday, October 12, after the 9 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Minto.

World Apostolate Prayer Cell

A monthly World Apostolate Prayer Cell meeting will be held at St. Stanislaus beginning Saturday, June 1 at approximately 9:45 a.m. The prayer cell will last about one (1) hour. Prayer cells are small groups of faithful who gather on a regular basis either in churches or in homes to participate in communal prayer and spiritual enrichment aimed at the fulfillment of Our Lady's requests and the growth of the apostolate. All are welcome to attend the meetings.

The first movie this summer will be on June 4 from 7-10:30 p.m. An inspiring feature film called Pope John XXIII the Pope of Peace, an acclaimed performance as the beloved pontiff who came from common stock and was known for his simplicity, goodness, courage and love for humanity.

PNA Dancer's Polish food fest

The Polish National Alliance dancers will be hosting a food fest on Saturday, March 10, at the Minto Community Center from 3-7 p.m. The Polish meal will consist of pierogies, kielbasa, golabki (cabbage rolls), czarnina (sweet duck soup), kapusta (sauerkraut), salads, Mountain Cake and a lot more.

The dancers will perform starting at 4:30 p.m. followed by the alumni dancers at 6:30 p.m. Old time music will be played from 7:30-9 p.m. by the Rogallas from Goodridge, MN. Everyone is welcome!

Summer camp fun

Fr. Joseph Christensen, FMI, and the Candidates of the Franciscans of Mary Immaculate held their first annual Boys JMI Summer Camp for ages 10 – 17 from August 7th through August 14th, 2011. The JMI Camp, or Juvenes Mariae Immaculate (Youth for Mary Immaculate) started and ended with a 12 noon Mass.
